Tuesday already??
Well, that can only mean one thing. Yes, it's time to tell the truth and confess, in homage to Lisa & Laura's blog.
So, here goes!
1) When I posted yesterday asking you to come up with an appropriate Deal With the Universe for a CONTEST, I said there was a "Mystery Prize" because I hadn't come up with one yet. Now, I know, and it's AWESOME.
I'll be giving away my once-read, lovingly used copy of THE HOLLOW by Jessica Verday! Make sure to comment on yesterday's post by this Friday for your chance to win!
2) I don't send out Christmas cards. Ever. I don't like a lot of pressure/expectations around Christmas because it makes me crazy. So, I just hug my relatives instead, and email other folks :). And, I don't even feel guilty. MWAHAHAHAHA.
3) My childhood nicknames were Big Bird and Chewbacca because I was always the tallest kid in class. I was 5'5" tall when I was nine... Yeah.
4) I've been wearing crocs and socks all week long. I swear, it looks cute the way I do it ;). I also know Lisa & Laura won't believe me.
5) I watch The Biggest Loser like dudes watch football. Talk to me during the commercial break, or be ignored.
6) Pizza is my greatest weakness! It's like my delicious, salted meat covered Kryptonite. If you ever want to kidnap me, leave some pizza in the back of a panel van, and I'll probably falling for it.
So, what do you guys have to confess this week?
Don't forget to join the running for THE HOLLOW!

Yeah, can't really judge considering I'm wearing a pair of pink Uggs. No one over 5 should be wearing these shoes and yet, I love them.
I'm going to have to think long and hard about your Universe deal. I'll come up with something evil, I mean awesome. ;)
I don't send out Christmas cards either. Always think about it. Never happens.
5'5" at nine? It must be awesome to be able to reach things. ;) I've never been 5'5", even with my "tall" flip-flops on.
My confession: Sometimes I talk like a wannabe gangsta with the sole purpose of embarrassing my kids. They love me.
I send out the best imaginary Christmas cards . . . ever!!! Oh, and I'm really good at sending beautiful boquets of imaginary flowers to my sisters on their birthdays!
Okay, and since we're sharing, and since I've finally finished the therapy . . . I was a rotund child and my sisters used to roll me down the hill in the backyard and call me Mr. Wobbles! Yes, they did, and it's no wonder I spent years in therapy . . . and it's no wonder they don't get real cards and flowers! I mean, seriously, rolling your rotund baby brother down the hill in the backyard is not a good thing, nor calling him Mr. Wobbles. It's no wonder I had self-esteem issues growing up.
S
p.s. all the above is true except the therapy (family joke) and the self esteem issues. Oh, and then there's the picture from one Christmas where they dressed me . . . nope, I'll need therapy if I revisit that childhood memory.
LOL, yeah I was 5'6" by the time I was 13, with size nine feet, so I feel your pain. My sister is 5'2". We've both gained about thirty pounds since high school, but since I'm so much taller, I don't look it. So there are some advantages to being tall. ;)
I usually lie and say I weigh one-thirty, but I'm really closer to one-fifty on a bad day. Yuck, telling the truth sucks.
LiLa: Yay! Ugly/comfy shoe sisters!
Abby: Your confession made me laugh out loud ;)! And yeah, I'm a giant. I finally topped out at 5' 9". In heels, I'm an amazon.
Scott: OMG! This makes me glad I was an only child. Chocolate for you (or just more margaritas?)
Tere: Dude, nice! It's awesome to meet a fellow tall person :). Brave of you to tell all!
Great list!
I'm wearing a dress I bought about 10 years ago right now. I should be on What Not To Wear. So crocs and socks? Okay with me... LOL!
Hehehe, I love that show, and often wonder what would happen if they raided my closet ;). Oh, wait.... I know what would happen. They would burn things.
I always write in a black, fleece robs, no matter what time of day it is. And then someone comes to the door at 4 p.m. and I'm wearing a robe when I answer it. Oh, the looks I get!
