Usually just takes some thinking, and jotting down some notes. Sometimes, I skip ahead, and sometimes, listening to certain music helps. Just depends on the day, I guess. :)

I think I'll try your method, and just denies its existence. :DAbby Annishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05543937393055900844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1341936379982803463.post-72782581484183941782009-08-05T08:41:05.110-07:002009-08-05T08:41:05.110-07:00Beth--I think you're totally right. Normally, after a mini-break, the writing flows again. So, I write when I write, and I don't when I don't. It's all part of life.

BTW - when The Void is spoken, it is like one of those computer animated voices that echo mockingly. : )

SScotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06905515473737579937noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1341936379982803463.post-29384627403539188542009-08-04T23:27:14.129-07:002009-08-04T23:27:14.129-07:00I get blocked when I haven't fleshed things ou...I get blocked when I haven't fleshed things out enough. Sometimes words don't flow smoothly, but I don't really get stuck on what happens with the story. Writing *can* be hard, but writers who don't hide behind writers block are the one who make it.

I like your poem idea! :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11431700962951592287noreply@blogger.com
